Watch the video. This is making robotics more appealing to home users. With this type of work it will build a more human interface and will add the value to consumers enjoying the work with the robots. Most times robotics has just been a robot that does certain functions, but here they have added some emotions and character to the robot that allow those normal functions to turn into a human fun.
It looks a lot like Wall-e but its actually real. This will be a model that may start a new era in robotics that can connect with humans more easily. Its awesome the way they have connected so many parts into such a small space. I would like to see how rugged this thing is.
Watch the video and see what the robot does when it is in its docking station charging. A snoring robot. LOL
