Isn’t it amazing how Malaria only affects the poor countries…

So here is the world according to areas that are still affected by Malaria. Notice how only the poorer countries seem to be affected by the disease and none of the richer countries. However, very little is spent by the bigger richer countries to help their fellow man to remove this disease, which can be eradicated. What about the super rich who are sending rockets into space to mine asteroids? How does that help their fellow man? We need more compassion in this world. We need to become more compassionate towards one another. To elevate in our hearts a desire to help each other so that there is no more hunger and sickness. Maybe we should institute a watershed financial ceiling? When a person’s wealth is above a certain point then 10% of all that wealth is automatically given to the work of development and help to our fellow man.

I completely agree with mister Gates here. If you go through revelation you will see this age unfolding right down to the poverty we are seeing today. Even Americans are affected now. I love tech and innovation, but what crime is it if we just allow our fellow man to die of starvation when the world throws away 1 billion tons of food each year. What are our priorities now?

I love things like this. I believe that this will be the turnaround for this newspaper. But there will be a new set of rules and changes that will take place to get to the new look of what and how a traditional newspaper is read and published. Many people are still very stuck with a traditional mind-set when it comes to reading a newspaper and it will take a radical thinker to get to the place where all the modern technology is integrated into how a newspaper is read.

Abraham, Moses, Joshua…and You!

Do you need more faith in your heart account? Well, put some in there! You can have as much as you want. How much Word you put in your heart determines how much faith you’re going to have available when you need it.

It’s up to you. No one else can keep you from making that deposit either. If you can get a Bible, you can make a deposit every day. In fact, you’d better make a deposit every day, because chances are you’ll need to make a withdrawal sometime during the day. And withdrawals without deposits can leave you stranded without sufficient spiritual resources to get the job done.

Some people want to float through life without putting out the effort to build up their spiritual account. They want to enjoy the heavenly blessings, but they don’t want to develop the faith it takes to bring those blessings down to earth!

Don’t be one of those people! Don’t expect to get something from God without faith. It’s not going to happen.

Abraham had to act in faith to get Isaac. Moses had to act in faith to get the Israelites to the Promised Land. Joshua had to act in faith to get the walls of Jericho to come down. Rahab had to act in faith to keep her part of the wall around Jericho from falling down. And if Abraham, Moses, Joshua and Rahab had to have faith, then you have to have faith too. All of the great victories written in Hebrews 11 were manifest in the earth by and through faith! That’s just the way it is.

That’s why the most important thing you have to do in this life is to keep your heart full of the Word of God’because everything else can be taken care of if that account is full. That’s what Jesus meant in Matthew 6:33.

When you put the Word first, all things will come to you…including more faith. So don’t wait any longer! Get into the Word, put it in your heart, and watch your faith account grow!

@dstv new PVR looks great, but whith the high data costs in South Africa, who is going to use it?

Fantastic new PVR looks great and offers a lot, but the heavy dependence on downloads of data and the high price of data in South Africa, we need to ask who is this product focused at. Maybe we should buy up all the old machines and turn them into high end media entertainment systems and compete against @DSTV? My question is why can’t @DSTV get this type of stuff into our classrooms in South Africa and make a change to the education levels in our country? Imagine a set of live education channels that are fed questions through SMS and Twitter? Imagine those running all day long. Maybe even get some Wits or UCT courses for adults to enjoy? For educational institutions @DSTV could reduce the costs and monthly fees to help them develop their students while personal homes could run the normal costs or a special educational package could be created exclusively for those homes and families who want a low end cost as well. @DSTV don’t you think it’s time to start giving back more to the people in our country, in places that really need it and not just in a bit here or a bit there. @DSTV you could change the face of education and the education levels in South Africa overnight if you used a very simple formula. @techcentral grills ICASA over the high price of communication in South Africa. their website doesn’t even have a @T witter account, but you will see their banking details…

I have just been to the ICASA website and discovered that the communications board do not even have a Twitter or Facebook account yet. What makes their website a joke is that they have their banking details on their home page. So what does that tell you?
