@Microsoft Links Windows 10 to @Android, @iPhone…

@Microsoft are preparing to make its new is available and easily accessible to any device. Well almost it is making working on your files a lot easier, that is if you are using @Microsoft products like one drive and office. But this is a HUGE plus for users because not all environments offer this across multiple devices in this way. The other exciting news is Cortana is also going to be available as a digital assistant on @iPhone and @Android now as well. These will be two awesome and critical advantages to the new version which is shaping up to be an absolute game changer and may put @Microsoft back in the driver seat again.

Inflatable Plane to explore Venus atmosphere….

This sounds like some kind of Speilberg epic, but it is real. There are so many awesome things in the article. Not only is the idea of creating a plane that houses and inflatable plane a first but it can also be done in a very short space of time and it can withstand many elements from the foreign planet. Genesis 1 tell us that God created us to increase and multiply. Awesome.

Does our education system actually teach us?

This picture is such a simple but true way of showing how the education system if the world is operating. Someone once said that educate has in fact failed us because it does not change us.

I can understand the current state though because we have a massive amount of people to teach and so few teachers who are able to teach. Not to mention that many teachers are never paid what they are worth. These do not make for a positive environment to develop good teachers.

We need a greater emphasis on growing good teachers and making sure that they are paid properly. The government subsidies for teachers world wide is ridiculous and private school are governed by governments to the point where the cost is way out of reach of the average student.

The truth is that the cost of learning properly is very expensive and saying or thinking it is cheap is just a lie. Creating a good environment to learn means not just the physical class room but the quality if the teacher, the books, the class room, the enthusiasm of both teacher and learner not to mention the right discipline.

As a result the school system has down graded its methods and worked with what it has which has resulted in a hobbling system that results in a select few being educated and mass of delinquently educated youths who are not equipped to succeed.

Remember the Tuk Tuk? Its heading for America…

They used to have loads of these in Durban and they were in and out of just about everything. Now the guys who started the whole thing are moving them into America. It will be interesting to see how they manage the huge terrain of American cities. They should offer a fast personal transport that will give the yellow cabbies and even Uber a run for its money because the Tuk Tuk is smaller and able to get around stuff a lot faster and fit into smaller spaces.

@Microsoft adds @Datazen and mobility apps to #PowerBI….

Okay so what? It’s a great tool but the truth still remains that BI is still an elusive mystical place that companies do not reach until the right data with the right views and perspectives are first put in place. Once this is done the whole BI area starts to open up, until then its just a normal bunch of reports and numbers that still need to be deciphered.

Make no bones about it, I love #PowerBI. It’s power and simplicity are great and its easy to put together, but how many businesses have all that data to create the right BI without a lot of massaging.

Well done @microsoft on pulling I @datazen this is going to be great.

@ackermans swatt @eskom electricity by saving 50%

This is such an amazing story and I hope that Ackermans take their business case and make it available to all this either over using retailers as well. I often see Gateway shopping center here in Durban with its parking area lights blazing all night long and wonder how much they would save if they just had to switch half of them off during the night?

@Skype unveils real time video translation service to all…

This is an awesome tool and will allow people to level the playing field globally. What I love about this is being able to understand the incredible amount of technology that is going on in the background that has only now been made available. Think about this for a second. How do you get a computer that only returns single answers and computations to respond in real time in a different language and to make it do so with comprehension.
http://ift.tt/1QKekGb

The other point that you do not see in this article is that this levels the playing field for a one world government and a single global currency which sounds awesome. But in Revelation in the Bible this signifies the coming of the Anti Christ which is the beginning of the return of Jesus. Not to mention the Nepal earth quakes which is also written in the Bible.

Tablets in school do not replace the teacher student problems…

I have watched a few schools roll out tablets and books electronically to students and all I have found is failure at every turn. The amount of successes are minor in comparison to the challenges being created. Kids still need to engage in their studies and not just a tablet with a bunch of games or wifi connections to chat to friends. There is a process and impartation that takes place when a teacher engages with a student to impart knowledge, the challenge is how to do this in the modern age. Not how to parrot teach kids, but how to engage with them and tech them to engage in their own studies.

The other anomaly that most people are forgetting about and the one with the most sore points is the parents. Most parents refuse to point a finger at themselves, but the truth is that the effect of a parent involved in their children’s education will be more powerful than any technology you can put in a child’s hand.

But the questions to be asked here is, who is teaching the parents how to manage all these advances? Who is teaching a child how to avoid the pitfalls of loosing an education because they are stuck with their head in some game? Who is going to teach parents how to manage all these new pitfalls and possible challenges?

Personally I believe that every family needs to know about technology and what the advantages and disadvantages are to them in their own day. What may be working for one may not suite another. IT’s great to put a tablet in your child’s hands but you also put a world of porn in their hands which is being forced onto them whether they like it or not.

RT @copelandnetwork Your future is bright. But who decides that?

We are having a lot of fear and violence in the world around us but the interesting part is that all that stuff is put there by the people themselves. Yes, we have the responsibility to choose what we put in our hearts and that will dictate how we treat our fellow man and what outlook we have on life. Believe it or not, even our general well being comes out of that.

Here is a personal experience, this even goes into our finance. Whatever bad things I choose to do in my finance are my choice and no one else’s.

It’s time to stop belly aching and start making the right choices and start putting the right things into our hearts.

Here is a message from Gloria Copeland that really touches base on this and shows us the truth. Your future can be bright.

Your Future Is Bright!
Gloria Copeland

Out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaketh. A good man out of the good treasure of the heart bringeth forth good things: and an evil man out of the evil treasure bringeth forth evil things.
– Matthew 12:34-35

Your future is stored up in your heart! It’s not dictated by your history or your current circumstances. Your future is determined by you!
In the Scripture verses above, Jesus said that what is in your heart is what comes forth. So consider this: Who stored up the evil things that were in the evil man’s heart? Obviously, the man himself did it. Who stored up the good things in the good man’s heart? Again, the man himself did.
In the same way, you’re the only one who can make deposits of God’s Word into your heart. Your spouse can’t do it for you. Your pastor can’t do it for you. Even God can’t do it for you.
God has already done His part to help you. He’s the One who made your heart to be a depository for His Word. He’s the One who opened the account for you when you were a spiritual baby. As the Scripture says, “God hath dealt to every man the measure of faith” (Romans 12:3). The moment you were born again, He put the initial measure of faith in your heart’but you’re the only one who can make that measure increase.
And you can do that by taking the Word of God and putting it into your heart. Each time you make a deposit of the Word, your faith balance grows, and your future gets brighter. Isn’t that exciting? And there is no limit to the size of deposit you can make into your heart!
The more you deposit, the better things are, because that is where you will draw from to change the circumstances in your life. Your heart holds the faith you’ll need to cover any bill the devil tries to send your way. If he tries to put sickness and disease on you, you can draw from the Word of God about healing and it will give you victory in that area. If you’ve just been released from prison, you can draw from the Word of God about God’s plans for your welfare and have peace that you can make it just fine.
Your future really is bright! The Lord says in Jeremiah 29:11 (New International Version), “For I know the plans I have for you…plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” Put the Word in your heart. Speak it out in faith, and watch your circumstances change.
