@Microsoft to surprise in 2015? These are some interesting points…

There are many view points about the current state of Microsoft and many people may be right, but there are so many more areas that Microsoft have been working on over the past year that will hit pay dirt in this coming year. Do you know about all the other avenue of income and diversity they have been involved in? Here is an interesting article that highlights some of these areas.

“Unbroken” The rest of the story…

This man went through so much and came back “unbroken”, but the truth is that after the movie was over, this man did become broken, depressed and an alcoholic. It wasn’t until he met Jesus at a Billy Graham meeting that his life really became victorious. Hollywood left out that most important part didn’t they. Here is the video of this man’s life.

“Unbroken”, the unfinished story. There is a more important part that the movie left out…

Sure there is an awesome movie about the pain and hardship and a story of a man who overcame, but what happened after that? There is a greater story that was never told. The greatest story happened after the movie finished. It’s a story of a man who returned victorious and then went into a state of depression and drinking. A man who came through all those victorious and became broken! Then he met Jesus and that is when the real story of his true victory began, because even with all those amazing and courageous action in the war, he still could not overcome, until he met the Lord!

@bgea Bill Graham is voted one of the most admired men for the 58th time…

There are so many people in the world and in history and Billy Graham is still seen as a man to be admired. This article is amazing, but the part that is more inspiring to me is the unfinished story of the “Unbroken” movie which was not told. Amazing how Hollywood is quick to release a life story but the important bits are left out. This is an awesome article. Billy Graham has been a real inspiration to Christians around the world, but the time now is for the next generation to stand up and take his place.

@Amazon most highlighted words on Kindle may surprise you…

This article shows the truth about the world we truly live in and the truth that people are becoming more and more anxious about everything. Even things that they cannot do anything about and a lot of the time stuff that will never affect them anyway. A study done some time back proved that 80% of people who attend a GP are actually not ill.

There is a peace we can all have in life which is available to all people. Want to know more about this peace?

How big is God?

Everytime I watch Louis Giglio’s Indescribable, I am blown away by the sheer magnitude of creation. I get to the point where I wonder how blinded man can be to think that there is no God, but also how magnificent He is. This image is just our Milky Way and every second a new star is created. That is not just talk, but scientific fact. The Bible says that when God spoke the stars and lights began, and I believe that process still continues to this day. Imagine the power God has put inside you, since He said that He created us in His own image?

@techcentral just gave us a taste of the next big thing, 4D Printing?

It sounds like something from the future but it is so simple. Something that has always been there even since 3D Printing, but the question I ask is what practical purpose does this have? At the moment the durability of the printed item is just not going to cut it.

My first cement mix…

Okay so I know everyone in the world has already done this, but this is my first ever concrete mix! I am setting poles with a concert foundation for a mini jungle gym. I had to dig three 1m deep holes that was quite huge job. I have new respect for all those construction workers. It was tough but really fun.

@Microsoft partner with @Google…wait whaaaaaat

It sounds like the Twilight Zone but its true. You will now be able to move certain of the Windows apps into the Google cloud. This is a very progressive move on Microsoft part. I would like to know what they know that they are this confident. I wonder if Google shouldn’t be scared.

eWaste? What happens to all those millions of old phones and tablets that you just throw out?

The biggest problem facing technology is not the technology, but the disposal of the technology. This is a really good article that give you an idea of what the difficulties and intricacies are to disposing of an old phone or tablet or device.

Scientists have invested a rewritable page that is see through….

You’ve seen it in movies, but never in real life and now you have it before you. A see through glass type of paper that can display what you want on it, like a computer screen.

Falcons under budget robot beat MIT $11,000 robot in finals…

This is such an amazing story that is now being made into a movie called “Spare Parts”. It is a real story of hope and succeeding against all odds. Reminds me a lot of David and Goliath. It proves to me that it does not matter what your background is but what you do with it that counts. Where are these guys today? Well that is the crazy part. They are running catering businesses and the cleverest one of all of them could not finish school because of money and is now working at Home Depot. We live in a sinful world where this kind of intelligence and tenacity and problem solving capability is rewarded with a clock card job that produces nothing for the world from such great men.

@thyssenkrupp_en just broke the mould on a design that has not changed in over 100 years….

The elevator has not changed in over 100 year. That is pretty wild. This company have created a new elevator that goes not just up and down but left and right as well. That is going to change the way buildings are created and also how people live in them. Have you ever thought that with modern technology a person does not have to leave their home. That means that a person could live in a building their entire lives without leaving it at all. Maybe we should start investing in mini malls at the bottom of middle of high rise buildings.

@amazon robots are an amazing advancement on warehousing…

Having these robots around makes you wonder if it will replace humans, but the truth is that there are still quite a few tasks that they still need for a human to do which a robot can still not successfully do. This article gives quite a good high level overview of the types of robots and how they manage the stock. I very different way compared to the traditional forklift design from old school businesses.

@amazon warehouses are a massive maze of awesome…

IT is amazing to me that they can find anything and yet you get almost same day delivery in most of the US and the rest of the world see Amazon as THE distribution and warehousing company to beat.
