E-cigarettes are 10 times more dangerous than normal…

What makes this article more concerning is that the marketing is focused on the cool kids arena which means our kids are the ones who are going to want this stuff. Just dump this stuff. This also means that there is now 10 times more carcinogens being consumed and exhumed per puff than before. This means that those people around you are subjected to your deadly vice! Just say no! Quit it now before it starts.

Is @apple iPhone replacing the iPad?

After all that hype and huge change in the world markets it appears that iPhone users are now going back to their iPhones instead of their iPads. Does this mean we have to change our buying habits? Nope. the iPad paved the way for a slew of new technology but it all brought about one massive problem that consumer usage is sorting out. Which is the best to buy? You see the iPad is a device that has no real business place unless it can host certain apps and even that (as powerful as it is) cannot completely replace those advanced intricate bits of detail that are required. Added to this the newer technologies that the Kinect motion sensor has pioneered over the past few years means that the methods and ways people are interacting with their devices has not yet been settled. Most people have a problem lugging multiple devices and this was the issue when laptops were still the only thing available. A phone remains too small and something in the 7 inch ranges just looks obscene in your pocket so consumers and now left once again with the dilemma to solve of what is best going to work for us? The new train of thought to create intelligent interconnected devices that know when you are coming or that you are in the vicinity and allow you to use a wall or a flat surface as a screen or interface is very real and far more appealing because it means you can use one device and leave the rest behind. @Ubuntu have already started this train of thought by looking at using the @ubuntu OS on any machine, however they have put @Ubuntu on a phone and this phone then becomes the PC when you plug it into a hub which connects only to a monitor, keyboard and a mouse. With modern specs many of the phones today could almost get away with doing this. So here we sit once again. Consumers are to decide where the next range of products are going to go.

What about you? Could you do away with your laptop and only have your tablet or must you walk around with three devices?

What would be your ideal device or devices?

@eskom employees steal billions from payroll. Two questions arise….

So two employees under the age of 30 and a ringleader have now been caught at Eskom stealing billions from the Eskom payroll system. While most people are asking how could the IT department have allowed this and not seen it, I am asking why is the Eskom payroll so massive when we have a power crisis on our hands? Will we actually as customers receive any of that money back?

Eskom are raising prices again by 9% each year and government are doing a 20 billion bail out, so what does that mean for the customers and the people who want power? A local informal settlement near us currently has free power and the neighboring Eskom facility employees are actually helping them to get wired up.

Where is the justice in this?

@NASA space station prints its first 3D object….

So we have landed on the moon, people have walked on another planet and we have even landed a rover on Mars, but the 3D printed object recently made in space is a major breakthrough to human kind. LOL

There is something in this that will be of great value and that is 3D printed food. It may sound weird, but the astronauts will be doing a test on food that will be printed in that same 3D printer. Very Star Trekkie!

Double arm transplant??????

Medical science is incredible with the limited knowledge they do have. This is an absolutely amazing story. What is awesome to me is that doctors are able to take an arm from one person and give it to another and patch all the arteries, veins, joins, ligaments and transplant that arm to another person. That is quite awesome.

US $140 million house in the Hamptons for sale

It looks like a relatively simple house, but when you stop and think about what is in it and the size of the property you begin to get a bigger picture. The bigger eye opener is that this house is very close to a major city and yet it has an complete uninterrupted view of the beach without other homes nearby!

@Canonical want to turn your phone into your PC…

Ubuntu has already done what Microsoft are only now doing and what Android and Apple are still yet to do and that is combine all the devices onto one operating system. The idea is your phone becomes the PC and all you need on your desk is a screen and a mouse or keyboard. This is a great idea for so many reasons, it means you don’t have to lug a huge tablet or laptop around. All you need is your phone. It wil lalso pave the way for companies to design virtual keyboard and interfaces that will work with your phone without even taking it out of your pocket. That is pretty cool. WE do not have to be subjected to what device we have and we can use it anywhere.

Need snuggle get a professional at $60 and hour?

Sometimes you have to read some of the stuff in the news a few times to make sure you read the right thing. Yes, there is a professional business that sells platonic cuddles for $60 an hour. Now I am not sure which is the bigger surprise, that they have this kind of business or that they had over 1000 customers in the first month. Well I suppose we all need a snuggle at some point in the day, but isn’t that what a family is about and a loving relationship with the right person?

What should I do? Indecision is more common today than ever before because…..

There are so many thoughts and so much information flying around every thought or decision we make each day and there is a hidden, enemy making sure we get the wrong info, its hard to decide, or is it? The Word of God is simple clear and the truth.

Make That Decision

Kenneth Copeland

[I will] not in any degree leave you helpless nor forsake nor let [you] down…!

- Hebrews 13:5, The Amplified Bible

If God has called you to do something, something that you think in the natural is impossible, chances are the devil has been bombarding you with thoughts of doubt, fear and discouragement.

But don’t let him lead you down that road. Don’t let him keep you from meditating on God’s ability and faithfulness to get the job done. Resist the temptation to meditate on your problems and inabilities…which is worry.

Stop struggling. And start resting. Relax. God knows that what He has called you to do is impossible. He knows you are having a problem with that fact. And He doesn’t mind waiting while you draw on His Word and develop the courage you need for the task.

You see, you don’t have to panic. Just keep reminding yourself that as long as you have your Bible and your faith, you can do anything God tells you to do.

Put thoughts about your own weaknesses behind you and focus instead on the awesome ability of God. Start saying to yourself, Hallelujah. God is with me! He will not, He will not, He will not in any degree leave me helpless, nor forsake me, nor let me down!

Then open your Bible and choose to believe what it says about you. Treat it as God’s blood-sworn oath to you. Keep it in front of your eyes. Keep it in your ears. Keep it on your lips. Make a quality decision to stick with it until the might of God Himself rises up within you and overwhelms the fear.

Once you make that decision, there’s no turning back. It’s on into the promised land!

Do you pass the poverty test, what about the prosperity test?

This message was in mail this morning and it got me thinking about what my mind is set on. Have I missed the mark and just been aiming for get by or have I been looking for that wealth prosperity level.

Pass the Prosperity Test

Gloria Copeland

But you shall [earnestly] remember the Lord your God, for it is He Who gives you power to get wealth.

- Deuteronomy 8:18, The Amplified Bible

The very idea of wealth scares some Christians. They think having a lot of money is ungodly’but that’s not what the Bible says.

God doesn’t object to our having money. On the contrary, He “takes pleasure in the prosperity of His servant” (Psalm 35:27, The Amplified Bible). What God doesn’t want us to do is covet money. He doesn’t want money to have us! He doesn’t want us to love money and make it our god.

So He gave us a safeguard. He gave us in His Word a foundational instruction about prosperity that enables us to be wealthy and godly at the same time… “Seek (aim at and strive after) first of all His [God's] kingdom and His righteousness (His way of doing and being right), and then all these things taken together will be given you besides” (Matthew 6:33, The Amplified Bible).

That is the foundation of biblical prosperity. It’s based on God’s way of doing and being right. It comes to those who operate in this earth according to His system of life, instead of the world’s system.

The world’s system has money for its god. It loves and seeks after money. But the kingdom of heaven has the Father for its God. And in His economy, you can’t prosper supernaturally unless you give Him and His ways first place in your life.

Granted, there are times when godly people begin to prosper and then get off track. Those people pass the poverty test, but fail the prosperity test. They start out seeking first God’s kingdom. But when they begin to experience the financial blessings of that kingdom, they become overly preoccupied with the things that have been added to them. Their hearts begin to grow cold toward God because they don’t continue to give Him first place in their lives.

God doesn’t want that to happen to His people. That’s why He told the Israelites not to forget Him when they entered the Promised Land and started living in goodly houses and enjoying material abundance…. “But you shall (earnestly) remember the Lord your God; for it is He Who gives you power to get wealth.”

So don’t just release your faith to pass the poverty test. Pass the prosperity test as well!

The question which remains here is these people are so organised why are they not organising a better future fro themselves. Can you imagine all this effort put into the right places they could well be making a world for themselves that would surpass even their visions.
